•A legal permanent resident for 5 years or 3 years if married to a U.S. citizen

DON’T FORGET TO BRING:

•Your Green card and social security card

•List of ALL trips taken outside of the U.S. for the last 5 years

•Your address and job history for the last 5 years

•Family information, including all children and spouse (current and former)

•If you have ever been arrested, copies of court records for all arrests

•Bring 2 passport sized photos and Passport

TO APPLY FOR A FEE WAIVER:

Mike Ghaffary is a General Partner of Canvas Ventures. Prior to Canvas, he was a General Partner at Social Capital, where he worked on the following investments: HubHaus, CloudKitchens, and Standard Cognition. As an angel investor, he invested in Strava, Optimizely, Metromile, Skip Scooters, Pocket, Philz Coffee, Atrium, Faire (formerly Indigo Fair), Superhuman, and several other companies.

He has 10 years of operating experience as CEO of Eat24, VP Business and Corporate Development at Yelp, Director of Business Development at TrialPay, and co-founder of Stitcher and BarMax. Before that, Mike started his investing career at Summit Partners.

Mike received his MBA from Harvard Business School and JD from Harvard Law School. He also received his BS in Computer Science from the University of Southern California.
