2018 Free Tax Return Preparation at San Jose Office

You  can obtain free tax preparation assistance at Pars Equality Center in San Jose from 02/01/2019 to 04/15/2019.

  What to bring to your appointment:

· Proof of identification (Photo ID)

· Social Security Cards for you and your dependents, or Tax payer Identification Number (ITIN)

· Just W-2s (under $55,000 income)

· Interest and dividend statements from bank

· Proof of bank account routing and account numbers for direct deposit such as a blank check

· A copy of last year’s federal and state returns, if available

·  forms 1095A, Health Insurance Statements

 

Office Hours:

Mondays through Thursdays: 10am-12pm, 1-3pm

Fridays: 10am-12pm, 1-2pm

•18 years of age

•A legal permanent resident for 5 years or 3 years if married to a U.S. citizen

DON’T FORGET TO BRING:

•Your Green card and social security card

•List of ALL trips taken outside of the U.S. for the last 5 years

•Your address and job history for the last 5 years

•Family information, including all children and spouse (current and former)

•If you have ever been arrested, copies of court records for all arrests

•Bring 2 passport sized photos and Passport

TO APPLY FOR A FEE WAIVER:

Sasan Goodarzi is chief executive officer of Intuit, where he leads the company towards delivering on its mission of powering prosperity around the world. He assumed the role on Jan. 1, 2019.

During his 14 years with the company, Goodarzi has successfully led each of Intuit’s largest businesses. Most recently, Goodarzi served as executive vice president and general manager of Intuit's Small Business and Self-Employed Group. Previously, he served as executive vice president and general manager of Intuit’s Consumer Tax Group, as Intuit’s chief information officer, as the general manager of Intuit’s ProTax organization, and as the general manager of Intuit’s Financial Services Division.

Before coming to Intuit, Goodarzi worked for Invensys, a global provider of industrial automation, transportation and controls technology, serving as global president of the products group. He also held a number of senior leadership roles in the automation control division at Honeywell and served as the chief executive officer and co-founder of a technology startup, Lazer Cables Inc.

Born in Tehran, Iran, Goodarzi came to United States as a child and grew up in Orlando, Florida. He currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and two children. He earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at the University of Central Florida and a master's in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Goodarzi is also a member of the board of directors at Intuit and Atlassian.

Recruiting community members, attorneys, paralegals, translators, law students, high school students, and college students to help with our largest naturalization workshop of the year.

Volunteers will assist with registration, logistics, form filling (N-400) and attorney review.
